DCWW Workshops
One important benefit of membership in DC Web Women is our regular series of workshops. DCWW’s goal is to offer low-cost, current, competitive, and convenient hands-on training for women in Internet-related fields. We work with DCWW sponsors and volunteers to put together a variety of workshops that respond to our members’ needs.
We hold monthly two-hour workshops provided by Westlake Internet Training, a longtime sponsor of DCWW. Because these workshops are abbreviated versions of full Westlake courses, topics can range from scripting to design to project management and everything in between. We also hold periodic workshops and seminars offered by other sponsors and members.
The schedule of workshops is updated frequently. Calls for registration are announced on the DCWW mailing list a week in advance of a scheduled workshop, with instructions on how to sign up.
For questions regarding workshops, email our Member Education Chair.
