Thanks to everyone who participated in Take Our Daughters to the Net Day! It was a resounding success. On April 22, 1998, about 20 girls gathered at HandsNet in Washington, DC, and Knowlogy in Fal ls Church to explore the Web and create their first home pages.

The event was the result of a cooperative effort between the DC Webgrrls, HandsNet and Knowlogy organizations, and corresponded with the larger "Take Your Daughter to Work" day sponsored nationwide by the Ms. Foundation this April.
