Join us as DC Web Women continues it's Web 2.0 series on optimizing content & your online identity.   On Thursday, Nov 1st, learn key components to search engine optimization (SEO)   &  pay-per-click (PPC) campaigns.  Our guest presenters will address a wide range of SEO issues, including the relationship between strong online traffic & quality content.   Expect a dynamic, timely program and great menu.

Deborah's search engine optimization skills have placed quality websites into Google's top five organic search results on a regular basis. Her background includes direct mail marketing and fundraising for clients such as Habitat for Humanity, The Central Park Conservancy, and Operation Smile. She writes an Internet marketing column for DC Web Women and has a book of poems scheduled for publication in 2009.

Leslie is co-founder and partner in E-WRITE. With E-WRITE, she has helped thousands of people learn to write well for online readers. She has delivered customized writing courses for marketers, executives, demographers, customer service agents, help desk staff, web content contributors, government employees, activists, and teachers.  She is co-author of Clear, Correct, Concise E-Mail: A Writing Workbook for Customer Service Agents.

Look for the Bread and Chocolate Bakery at 23rd and M. and we are just
down the stairs from it. Our office is on the 3rd floor, and you call
202/467-2906 after 5 p.m. on Nov. 1 if you need directions.

Parking garages are in the neighborhood, but please make sure the
garage is open until at least 9 p.m. since some of the garages close
early. Here are a few of the garages: PMI Parking, 1255 22nd St. PMI
Parking, 2300 M St. Standard Parking, M St. between 21st and 22nd
Colonial Parking, 24th St (east side of street) The garage for our
office closes at 7 p.m., so it will not work for our event. After 6
p.m. you may be able to get street parking.

Closest metro stops: Foggy Bottom (Blue and Orange lines) and Dupont
Circle (Red line)
