The question is: how do you measure your return on Web investment to clearly demonstrate the benefits of current, or even increased, level of spending on Internet initiatives?

  Make your résumé work for you! Are you getting the right responses when you send out your résumé? Need to know how and where to incorporate your technical or creative skills into your résumé? Want to know how to include volunteer experience? Wondering if you should include that one brief job you hated?

• 12 Monthly Meeting: Fan Fiction
  Fan fiction is when people who like a certain show, book, movie, (whatever) use those characters, settings, elements (etc.) as a springboard from which to write stories, parodies, pass-the-pens. You might have seen it at cons (conventions like Star Trek). In the past (Dark Ages), these were the productions of ditto machines.

You will learn tips for managing the butterflies and understand the special challenges and advantages of being a woman on the platform.

• 13 Monthly Meeting: Knowledge Management
  We live in a knowledge intensive world. While the web has put worldwide information at our fingertips, finding what you need, when you need it has become a time consuming and sometimes even impossible quest. Large organizations have experts, but it's hard to identify them or connect to them in a timely manner. Websites and intranets contain millions of pages and searches return thousands of hits. How do we get a handle on dealing with everything?

  Let the networking continue! We had a crowd of nearly 100 men and women, some driving in from well beyond the beltway to attend the event.

  Why has search engine placement become a key responsibility for those engaged in Web site marketing? The answer is that between 85 and 90 percent of all Web traffic is generated by the major search engines. But simply having your site listed in major engines does not mean your customers will find it.
