Take Our Kids on the Web 2000

Thanks to everyone who participated in this year's Take Our Kids on the Web event! As always, we are pleased to report that it was a resounding success!
Approximately 80-85 kids across 4 locations (Figleaf Training in Dupont Circle, Westlake Training in Arlington, University Of MD in College Park and Capitol Children's Museum in Capitol Hill) learned online safety, built their own homepages, ate yummy food, and were inspired to learn more about and get further involved in technology.
We would like to extend a heart-felt thanks to all the companies, organizations and volunteers who donated training space, time, food and other goodies to help make this event possible!
