Over the years, our numbers have grown. When we first started tracking membership in late 1997, there were about 250 of us. From the late '90s to early 2004, we grew to an all-time high of 4,000. That number went down when we switched list software In November 2004 and asked all wrrls to resubscribe – but we've been holding steady ever since.

Here's where we are today, with numbers broken out for our two lists: the main list (a technical discussion list geared towards helping women in the DC area stay involved and current with new media and the business that supports technology) and the social list (for everything else).
