Code(Her) is a series of hands-on, development and technology-focused workshops for digital professionals and technology enthusiasts. Code(Her) workshops were created to help our attendees:
- learn how to code at various levels and in relevant programming languages,
- brush up on skills, and
- explore the latest tools for online communication.
Code(Her) workshops take place monthly and feature expert volunteers from the industry. During 2 – 3 hours of workshop instruction, approximately 50% is spent tinkering with and modifying files under the guidance of the instructor to practice the techniques being discussed.
Code(Her) workshops are held at General Assembly’s DC Campus. General Assembly (GA) is a global educational company on a mission to empower a global community to pursue work they love. Focusing on the most relevant and in-demand skills across data, design, business and technology, GA is confronting a skills gap through best-in-class instruction and providing access to opportunities.
